about

Indie hip hop artist Devine Carama, along with associated professor Bryan Hains, taught a course at the University of Kentucky called "Lyricism & Leadership: Hip Hop & Community Change". The final exam of this full semester course was for 21 students from different religious, racial, & economic backgrounds who have never rapped before, to come together and create a hip hop EP featuring themes that are relevant to challenged & under served communities and then donate the proceeds to a local nonprofit.
