Intro: Mama Lou You ask what do I know about discrimination, This white woman from the privileged class domination, I naively believed love conquered all Mixing ebony and ivory was not protocol But society does not tolerate well the mix Make black and white stay absolute in their bag of tricks This pathway is the easiest to make sure That the have nots do not muddle the haves pure Verse1: Elli P Half white Half black and proud Daywalker All strength nothing weak endowed In a room full of either I stand out in crowd can't keep these thoughts to myself I'm thinking out loud Too black to be white To white to be black I'm a biracial baby and y'all need to relax Coffee or the cream Vanilla or chocolate cake According to this form there's only one I can take I'll tell you this I'm a hybrid not an other So I'll pull my pen out and mark down that I'm a brotha In the winter I'm light as the snow, covered ground in the summer crispy brown some don't vibe with the sound Black friends used to say "Aye why you talk white?" White friends say "Dude wear your sperrys tonight. I'm kind of scared to say, but don't wear your new j's. They look cool but it's not the time and place. Oh.. and don't use all that slang, we need to act think and talk the same When it comes to meeting parents man I give them a fright They're super salty ‘cause a black man tells her good night Now we've both been put in awkward positions I have nothing but good and wholesome intentions But their problem stems from my melanin condition Or did you baby girl fail to mention Her new man is half black Then they had a heart attack First time we met No hug, shake or dap Scared to death Had to get out It's was a trap Klan affiliated Do her dirty it's a wrap Hook: Lotta' Mae Love all we need is love That is the most powerful thing Above all things, the greatest of these is love So we need to start ridding hate -Not discriminate Cause love will cure all things Best believe it’s true But if you cant love, don’t disrespect me Then I won’t disrespect you Verse 2: Lotta'Mae & Devine Carama Black Queen They say that we’re always mean I’m the most undermined, what you expect from me Have to hold our ground Cause no one else is around Hold onto our crown cause soon truth will be found They don’t want you to know Know your worth and you’ll glow Glow bright when you rise Rise above the despise Despise hate and you’ll see See the love that could be Would be, should be, could be Between you and me Me without you Already existed but who knew Knew the truth could be hidden Due to societal views Black athletes in college, thinking they major is basket weaving, or only time we getting money sell drugs or tax season/ man I gotta fight these perceptions, but I fight with my mind when I rhyme, so when I write it's like weapon/ discriminated because I don't dawn a pale face, but I smile at a devil experiencing hell's fate/ doesn't matter who I am, they even sprayed painted NIGGER on Lebron James home out in LA/ Hook: Lotta' Mae Love all we need is love That is the most powerful thing Above all things, the greatest of these is love So we need to start ridding hate -Not discriminate Cause love will cure all things Best believe it’s true But if you cant love, don’t disrespect me Then I won’t disrespect you Verse 3: Xxchange Hello, are you listening, is anybody listening Trump is still in office So you know that time is limited Feeling the pressure of the suppression of my religion Tryna thrive in a system not designed for me to live in Would you believe that I never been arrested? Would you believe that I never been on trial Understand, when you say "nigga" I get offended Gotta bottle it up and walk away with a smile I can't react cuz the chain reaction to blasphemous for me to fathom Just another body added to the pile Brown, Mitchell, Jackson, Gray, Rice, Garner, Clark, Loggins, Bell, Graham, Smith, Trayvon Martin Last names of the black slain I'm mad angry Lord, take care of the souls that have fallen My white friends tell me how they really feel. Makin America great, I suppose People don't change over the years They just find traits to expose You can hate me, you can taunt me You don't sit above You ain't perfect, you ain't Jesus You ain't finna judge me It's how I be's, But the sting ain't a thing to a king, Agents of Change, Xxchange. Hook: Lotta' Mae Love all we need is love That is the most powerful thing Above all things, the greatest of these is love So we need to start ridding hate -Not discriminate Cause love will cure all things Best believe it’s true But if you cant love, don’t disrespect me Then I won’t disrespect you

Verise 1: Lotta' Mae The grass ain’t greener on the other side Global warming destruction leaves no place to hide What the system fails to see is that when these animals die The extinction isn’t just on them but it affects our own lives Trump, you know, that right? Still yet we tryna fight? The air is getting tight The birds are taking flight Because they know about the show we’ll undergo It ain’t no joke, so grab your folk and let them know So, we can prevent this tremendous blow Hook: Lotta' Mae To kill, steal, and destroy is the devil’s task But we are helping his destruction and he doesn’t even have to ask How we treat this land we live upon is imperative Or we’re not gonna have a place to stay which means we wouldn’t live Verse 2: Broken Coaltrain Your heart is dirtier than water in Flint The town you represent, got them feeling resent Collected your votes, then dipped out like smoke and The people looking bleak While the levees have broke We got a massacre upon us Fed lies about who harmed us Drinking acidic bottled garbage Slowly loosing our harvests When I ask you what you doing looking scared as can be Your insecure and rather drowned it out with the news But brother listen to me The world's full of greater truths God gave us fruit Instead we wanted power and lust, booze You poison our food daily Cash crops they cannot save us Mass death of many creatures occupying the sea Even convinced you to hate me for my beliefs That what they want seeing ya own as enemies But which the floods rising The people see through your lies Mass government despising While bees and children due Hook: Lotta' Mae To kill, steal, and destroy is the devil’s task But we are helping his destruction and he doesn’t even have to ask How we treat this land we live upon is imperative Or we’re not gonna have a place to stay which means we wouldn’t live Verse 3: Mama Lou The owners and masters of old King Coal Took our mommies and daddies role They stole our culture and all of our land Raping and destroying, do you understand?? And when it became useless they gave it back We could only cope by using dope and the crack We were left with an absolute nothing Our dignity now a shell, untrusting Now the owners of the black liquid gold Want to repeat the same saga of old A grab for more land from our native brothers So pipeline can be laid, but not near their mothers Promises made of no damage or spillage Trust their handshake there will be no carnage Sell those stories like an old western medicine man The victims, once again, our tribes of Native Americans Breakdown: Mama Lou, Lotta' Mae & Broken Coaltrain How we treat this land we live upon is imperative Or we’re not gonna have a place to stay which means we wouldn’t live Agents of change, acapella range, Finding those community unity solutions to Destruction Reclaim the land, raise your fists and stand Promoting the process of recycle and Reduction Help our people decrease Pollution Help our people find Solutions

Verse 1: Black Tooth Grin It was a year after the century A date that was meant to be For the Stars and Stripes And booms and bangs I'm no Joseph Gordon But let's loop back to the past Cuz it's time to tell my story at last Mom wanted to know when I'd be back BOOM was the sound of shattering glass Mom was on dads Like he's takin out the trash Really all he wanted was his son back The cut inches from an artery Was J's fault supposedly They coulda said they were sorry Cuz it's still haunting me But it didn't turn out that way There was nothin I could say Runnin outta breath Like I ran a 50K But before this track fades away Exxchange what you gotta say But before this track fades away Exxchange what you gotta say Hook 1: Devine Carama If you could only see what's inside in me, The devil trying to hide in me, My whole I been living in poverty My only resort, VIOLENCE! I question, greatness do we fear that? I got a message but the game don't wanna hear that, My soul is in debt, and only God can clear that.. And if not then it's VIOLENCE! Verse 2: Xxchange 7AM Mama not home, she first-shiftin Trip over a stack of past-dues, old subscriptions But holes in my hoodie Hand-me-down shoes, the shoelaces ancient, Heater is broken and the cabinets is vacant Pops stumble down the stairs Barefoot, so his sole full of splinters Plus he smells of corrosion and liquor Blaming me, smack me around, scream fiending for an apology, Like it's my fault we living in poverty Left hook, right hook Got the knockout blow, ready and cocked Swollen lip, I can't beg him to stop His animosity, drunk hypocrisy Beat it outta me, more furiousity Milly-rockin me, where's mommy I'm losing consciousness Hook 2: Devine Carama If you could only see what's inside in me, The devil trying to hide in me, My whole I been living in poverty My only resort, VIOLENCE! I question, greatness do we fear that? I got a message but the game don't wanna hear that, My soul is in debt, and only God can clear that.. And if not then it's VIOLENCE! Verse 3: Arisocrateaze These are the words of the impacted youth The pain in their bars givin’ infinite truth But what’s truly missing are the words of the dad Who gets demeaned, diminished, when momma gets mad Domestic disputes aren’t solely one way The words, the hurt, build up everyday Malicious intent, she slings anger my way The shell of a man going to work that day Returning home with mass hesitation Passive aggressive behaviors got him constantly guessing Could micro-aggressions diminish or lessen? Hopes are dashed with more confrontation Pressure builds up, time for dad to go Leaving my life with my future unknown Verbal abuse – she calls me deadbeat dad The scars you can’t see I wish I never had Hook 3: Devine Carama If you could only see what's inside in me, The devil trying to hide in me, My whole I been living in poverty My only resort, VIOLENCE! I question, greatness do we fear that? I got a message but the game don't wanna hear that, My soul is in debt, and only God can clear that.. And if not then it's VIOLENCE!

Verse 1 Somewhere between the birth of hip hop And the birth of the crack rock A single black mother was going through the struggle Gave birth to fresh p aka my pops Growing up fresh p ain't really know no better He knew that they were broke and they ain't have no cheddar No filet mignon No gray poupon Just a youngin learnin to be a man from his mom A couple kids would clown Cause his daddy ain't around But he took it on the chin and never really made a sound When it came to absent fathers it was never brought up So Chris and lil fresh p had to make each other tough One day he got tested By a streetwise veteran Who'd already been arrested Then quickly got bested It was the first L he ever took It was clear to see that fresh was shook Surprise was in his eyes cause it didn't go by the book Then he got to thinkin Curiosity was peakin Let's dive into his head and listen to his mind speakin Maybe if my pops was around I'd be aware That not everybody fights fair To never back down To never get scared Any words of wisdom from his life that he could share Instead, He found a father figure on the screen Watching heart to hearts and placed himself in every scene He was Arnold with mr.durmand Theo with cliff huxtable Made a vow to himself his kids will be comfortable He’ll teach them to take responsibility and all the other things like the birds and the bees And how to work towards a college degree And exactly what a good dad should be Fresh P Verse 2 Fresh P is grown now He just turned 21 Hit the bar with the guys cause it's time to have some fun Saw this bad lil shawty made him think that she's the one Shortly after that their Love had begun Makin trips to Richmond every single freakin weekend Patiently waiting for lil red to start leakin Fresh and lil red got a pregnancy test She came out the restroom with something on her chest Look fresh, I'm pregnant You can stay or leave Ima raise this baby and finish my degree An in and out boy is something we don't need We need a real man to stand up for his beliefs Hold on wait a minute You thought I was finished Girl on not about to leave and be a phantom menace I'm a real man I stay about my business My son won't grow up feelin hate and resentment Mary Carol MC The mother and creator My seed’s incubator Tried to make me darth Vader I'm not the bad guy Real man till I die Were you thinkin all the stories bout my father were some lies Ima be here if we together or not An absent black father something fresh p is not I'll work double shifts Clock in on the dot Just to make sure he has all the things I never got Now I'm 44 with a son and a daughter Living every single day as a proud black father My sons a super star On the mat and spotting bars I guess it paid off Rap battles in the car Doing sprints up in the yard Talking life heart to heart We have the kind of bond that you can never break apart My daughter is a actress Attitude to match it Divas like vocals slash political activist Award winning poet Can tear jerk a stoic When she came out the closet Happy she exposed it As someone persecuted I know that it can be tough All the looks they give you I know that they can be rough It can give the feeling like you'll never be enough But when it comes to family know it's nothing but love Verse 3 Fresh p, You were there from the start You you stuck around and never wanted to dart Never laid a hand unless I wanted to spar You're the reason that I even made it this far You put me in the music from wu-tang to biggie Common sense to 50 It's something that stuck with me Snoop dogg and dr dre 2pac Nwa Nasty mad and any other joint from back in your day When I was born you were slightly younger than me I can't even imagine I don't even have my college degree And yet You set the bar for what a good dad should be I hope one day as a father I'm something like fresh p Never missed a game, a performance, or a match When it's time to celebrate he's the one that starts the clap has a smile that'll light up any room he's in He's never met a person that could not be his friend Everybody tries to do their best impression A few came close but it's just not him We spend fathers and Mother's Day with my nana I took the opportunity to ask about my grandpa they told me he's somewhere out in British guiana He said that's someone that I'm really not a fan of I didn't need him though Your nana she was both He wrapped his arms around her with some tears in his eyes Imagine if you will, a John coffee cry These were tears of joy No, fresh wasn't sad This woman right here She's my mom and my dad I knew right then and there That life isn't fair Our stories don't compare Because my dad was always there

Verse 1: Broken Coaltrain Poverty gap, gentrify your home Government check, food stamp She feeling all alone Little mama gotta take the bus to third shift Getting cat called she feeling like she deserves this Waking up everyday feeling dismissed Gotta work the three jobs to keep on paying the rent Keep on making that bread to keep her children fed Slinging on the side to afford her daily mess We went from afros and Black Panthers To MTV, Impalas To wearing chains, skinny jeans Draped in vanity Now Eric Garner screaming 'help I can't breath' We see the everyday pain of many people in grief You blaming Marcus Garvey for hate But y'all the ones who voted for the Alt-Right brigade You acting pompous and preach Instead of humbly teach But everyday living What you doing for peace? Hook: Broken Coaltrain Let the gods sing Let the masses breath Teach us self esteem Don't sell out your dream Verse 2: Mama Lou All of our children need an education To make us a strong, productive nation But why are the poor and the kids of color Whose brains have to wait while their bodies get taller Constantly denied the true opportunity (pause) To make their mark in society Until we engage all of our neighbors In an education for all of our scholars This achievement gap begins when they are babies Continues to get wider, now they labelled lazy Today we have DeVos pushing schools of choice Choice! For who! The ones with no knowledge or voice? We know this to be the new name of segregation Shaking our communities to their foundation Without the destruction of these chains Our nation will never make great gains Hook: Mama Lou Knowledge is power Educate and inform Create a free people Enlighten and unify Verse 3: Lotta' Mae This system that we live in Ain’t for us living Their origin, was only given, by forced division Made us build infrastructure, destroyed our land Stripped our beliefs, names and said, “you can’t but we can” Produced the klan, deprived melanin and common sense Toxic vents, food, society, education. Created ruin of this so-called nation But when you look at it, who are they really playing? Ha Well they played monopoly on our backs like we were simple tools Gained knowledge from us, but then claimed we were fools That ain’t cool Unless you see society’s view Which doesn’t benefit me nor you But helps this system bring us to doom It says in the Word His name would become naught And it did because His true name wasn’t taught Yahuah, Elohim, Abba, Yah Almighty The only one that can save us, Not Society Hook: Lotta' Mae Our people are crying Innocent loved ones dying This systems structure ain’t for us We need to unify, fix our minds, and emphasize love. Outro: Broken Coal Train, Lotta' Mae, Mama Lou Black Wall Street MOVE Movement Brandon Stanley Daniel Shavel Dylan Noble Emmitt Till, JFK, Martin Luther, Robert Kennedy, Tony Sullivan, Trinity Gay

Verse 1 Pop pills, sell dope and sparking the nine, we've perverted God's gift of bars & rhymes/ In heaven Mike Brown and Sandra Bland are both eating brunch with the Charleston 9/ I know it's not your fault for the environment you were given, the systematic racism filling all the prisons/ white supremacist turned cops serving hidden agendas, executing blacks it's like a modem lynching/ But we gotta find a way to recapture the mission, of our fallen ancestors & restore ancient Kemet/ through these beats & rhymes our black children are listening, but we can't lead the blind until we perfect our vision/ these verses that i rhyme, reenacting what we living, so if you don't like our words then fine, change the conditions/ to many households where the role of man is missing, either dead or deadbeat, or serving time in prison.... Verse 2 People coming together, on one accord is unity,You and me supporting one another, that’s community/we gotta weaponized our minds, for this battle with Satan, we are vulnerable alone, Satan hates collaboration/And the devil hates knowledge,Do well and go to college, because your legacy last longer than your birth to your eulogy/ They try to divide and conquer us, trailer park and the projects, but honestly little separates the ghettos and the Holler/I want the single mama, and the dedicated fathers, The ex-convict, and the hard working blue collar/the marine biologists and those dope with the science, the teachers & the artists and those dope rhyming/the preachers the scholars, to unite as one, and shine a light like the sun, I can see in the optics/ for the next generation we are paving the way, death gentrification we the agents of change.....
